This list is by no means complete. I’ve forgotten most of the “words of wisdom” I’ve uttered over the years. I rely on the memories of my friends and everyone else who ever learned something from me for further additions to this page.
- LIFE
- You will never know how a person really feels even if you went through same thing, simply because you are NOT that person.
- In the end, all you really have is yourself.
- You always have a choice. When you feel like you do not have a choice, that’s because you chose not to have a choice.
- Life is all about making conscious decisions. If you feel like you can’t do something, that’s because you didn’t make a conscious effort or decision to work towards it. You need to have the *will* to see it through.
- It’s true that “experience is the best teacher.” So learn from your mistakes. But learn from others’ mistakes as well.
- “You shouldn’t share your problems with other people. 80% don’t care and 20% are glad that you have them.”
- LOVE
- Once you start loving someone, you never really stop.
- In loving someone, you should always leave something for yourself. That way, if the relationship falls apart, you can pick up the pieces and move on.
- When you tell a person you love them, you automatically give them the “right” to hurt you.
- FRIENDSHIP
- People tend to drift apart and grow out of relationships but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you don’t love the person anymore… The best you can do is treasure the memories of your time together AND learn from your mistakes.
