I am mostly a loner. I spend most of my time reading or working on my websites but when my family is around I can sit for hours on the couch, just watching movies or TV shows with them. I go out when I can and not having much of a social life doesn’t really bother me. I like being a homebody.
Did I mention that I love to read? Books are my passion to the point of obsession. I can never read enough. My room looks more like a library than an actual bedroom.
Anyway… Here are a few tidbits about my life.
FAMILY
I was born on the 6th of May, year 1987 to my parents, Rita and Julio. I am the youngest in a family of five. My sister, Leslee knew the world eight years before me and my brother, Karl, a year before that. The three of us have exactly twenty-one letters in our names. I have two living grandfathers (I used to have three — it’s a long story — but one of them passed away on 28 September 2005, Wednesday), a grandmother, five uncles and an aunt (the ones that I actually know or have met) - not counting relatives-by-marriage. I have seventeen maternal cousins - I only know two of my paternal cousins.

LOVE LIFE
I am currently in a relationship, happily so. ? Jim is everything I’ve ever wanted in a man. He is kind, sweet, funny, smart, responsible and dedicated; a real man of integrity. He’s the most perceptive person I’ve ever met and he really understands me. And as if God didn’t think that was enough, he also happens to be incredibly handsome! And he has lovely, lovely eyes…eyes like the sea after a storm — the eyes of the man I used to see in my dreams (a recurring dream from my childhood; my family and friends know what I’m talking about). There are still times when I feel like it’s all a bit too good to be true but the more I get to know him, the more I believe that he is “the real thing.” I feel so blessed to have him in my life! I must have done something really good to deserve him. I will do my best to make him happy…so happy that he’ll know every bad thing he’s ever had to face was worth it because they led us to each other. I can’t wait until we can finally be together for good!
FRIENDS
M-Rize — my best friend from college. They say you never really know a person until you’ve lived with them…well, Puff was my college roommate. We’ve survived endless psychological tests, research papers, all-nighters, heartbreaks, family problems, financial problems..pretty much everything you go through in college. We will always be friends. And I’m going to be the godmother of her first child – no, she’s not pregnant..yet. She’s engaged to a great guy named Michael who’s currently working abroad. They’re going to get married when he gets back.
Beh — my best friend from high school; we met during sophomore year. We couldn’t be more different from each other. She used to hang out at our house ALL the time. It seems like we’ve been drifting apart more and more each day. I’m hoping that our friendship will survive…
Niñ — my best guy friend. I’ve known him since high school. He knows everything good and bad about me but he loved me all the same. My greatest wish for him is to find a wonderful girl who’d appreciate and love him for everything he is and will be.
These three people know me better than anyone, sometimes even more than I know myself. We’ve weathered a lot of storms… I know we’ll be friends no matter what happens… We’ll be able to bridge the gaps between geography and lifestyle.
My online best friends are Sarah and Marine. They’re the only ones I really talk to online. They’re two of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met and I love them to pieces!

CHILDHOOD
My family lived in Laguna up until I was eight. I don’t remember much about my childhood. I led a pretty sheltered life. My world revolved around maternal relatives and a few kids who lived near my street. I suppose I was a somewhat happy child. I had grandparents (maternal) who loved me and doted on me. I was never close to my paternal grandparents so I never really got the chance to like them. They’ve always favored my older sister Leslee. Most of my childhood was spent dreaming of becoming an architect like my dad. I lost that dream years ago…

EDUCATION
I started school when I was just three years old. My first language was English. I only learned Tagalog/Filipino when I started studying because other people had a very hard time talking to me – I wouldn’t talk to them unless they spoke in English. I’ve studied in a total of five schools (prep, elementary, high school, college/uni). I have always been a good student. I graduated from high school on the 20th of March, year 2003. I graduated from De La Salle University–Manila on the 14th of October, year 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I’m taking up a second degree at De La Salle–College of St. Benilde: AB Multimedia Arts but I’m currently on a Leave of Absence. I plan to do a little soul-searching and figure out whether this is what I really want to do or not.
